May 13 Big Oil Resistance Tour
Join CA's climate justice movement this Saturday, May 13th for the Big Oil Resistance Tour's Sacramento stop!
From 6 - 8pm at the Colonial Theatre (3522 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95820), hear from local, statewide, and international climate activists on the fight to resist big oil! For the past month the tour has been moving across CA rallying communities around resisting big oil.
The event will feature:
Community leader Cesar Aguirre (CCEJN) from the frontlines of oil & gas extraction and refining in Kern County
Sacramento area climate leaders, including Tanda Bluebear (Women With Bows), Supriya Patel (Fridays for Future), and Katie Valenzuela (Sacramento City Council, District 4 / Central Valley Air Quality Coalition)
Local organizing opportunities
And, longtime activist, author, and co-founder of organizations like 350.org and Third Act…Bill McKibben!

May 13 All Nations Indigefest
Three Sisters Gardens (TSG) is hosting their 2nd Annual All Nations Indigefest, read their event description below!
“A Calling" to gather people from all Nations on Patwin Land in West Sacramento, CA
For 2023, we will continue to uplift our journey, continuous growth, and community through the celebration of culture, art, music, food, resources, and more.
We are so excited to be in community with one another on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1-2 PM for Youth Programming and 2-6 PM for “All Nations Indigefest” festivities.
