Hey Sunrise Movement Sacramento,

Last weekend we had our first in-person general meeting of 2023! Here's a quick recap.

After introductions, we opened with a mini training on the topics of: theory of change, leadership, and building power through relational organizing. If you missed out, you can review our handout or the notes @ bit.ly/ss4-1-23

We closed out with discussion in groups on the topics of:

• kickstarting our political / electoral team

• hosting a dinner or meal with our broader community

• planning a board game gathering

We'll announce more information about these ideas as they develop. In the meanwhile, if you're interested in diving in, our political / electoral team will be meeting over Zoom on Thursday, April 13th from 6 - 7pm and we have lots to discuss!

Spring Skills Share

April 8th, 10am - 12pm @ Three Sisters Gardens​ 

We're scheduled to talk as a guest speaker as part of Three Sisters Gardens' Spring Skill Share tomorrow, April 8th! The event goes from 10am - 12pm at Three Sisters Gardens in West Sacramento (317 5th Street West Sacramento, CA 95605).
